Day of Rest and Refocus

After rushing around all week it is nice to actually take advantage of the Sunday ritual of waking up a little later, reading the weekends papers, catching up with the house work put off during the week and seeing friends that I don’t often get to see regularly enough.

Detox can include looking back at the parts of last week that you wished were more organised, had extra time or had something that you had prepared earlier for last minute changes.  For once I got to take this time out and cruised into Sunday evening feeling a great sense of preparedness and calm anticipation for the week ahead no matter how busy it appeared to be.  Getting rid of the unnecessary stresses in life and replacing them with organization is important.

Life does get in the way and not every Sunday gets to be like that so I treasure the ones that are.
